Last Thursday, we had the honor of participating in the organization and discussion of the second session of the 2020 cycle “Les Dones Fem” (“Women Do”), led by the Grup Obert de Dones (Open Women’s Group) of the College of Architects of Catalonia.

Our managing partner, Clara Rius i Sambeat from Ahead Barcelona Healthcare Architecture, together with Raffaella Scorziello from Pinearq S.L.P., Isabelle Anguelovski from BCNUEJ, and Montserrat Gomà-i-Freixanet from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, were the invited speakers leading the interview-discussion.

The main objective was to explore the fundamental role that architecture plays in promoting health and comfort, as well as the prominent role of women in creating healthy environments, whether in the architectural, work, social, or intimate spheres.

The session, titled “We Live,” with a full capacity audience, took place at the Modernist Site of Sant Pau in Barcelona.
